Sanchi Velvets begins by choosing the right yarns—viscose, cotton-viscose, polyester, nylon, and metallic blends—each selected for the end use and desired feel.

In-house weaving (200+ looms) in a composite facility. Velvets are woven with double-layer techniques, using pile yarns to create the plush velvet texture.

After base velvet is woven, we add burnout (devoré), metallic highlights, or rich plains. Patterns are formed chemically or via yarn choice and finishing.
